About The Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Philanthropy Manager and Public Relations Representative – Australia will be a hybrid role that serves to deepen relationships with a portfolio of high-capacity financial partners, inviting them to invest generously into key projects and initiatives and also represent as a spokesperson for Charity Right Australia at select community engagements and activities.

Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Support a high-value portfolio of qualified individuals/businesses with the goal of developing personal relationships with each person/business that results in continued and increasing partnership.
  • Create organisation goals for each individual/business in his or her portfolio based on the partner’s history of giving, the organisation’s knowledge of that partner’s potential, and the partner’s communicated passions/interests.
  • Develop a plan for each financial partner that will serve as a foundational communication and marketing plan for each partner in the portfolio that retains or upsells their investment.
  • Work with field donor and program manager and the marketing department to obtain appropriate project information and create offers, proposals and asks that will be used with financial partners to secure investments.
  • In cooperation with the Executive Director, develop and implement a plan for new financial partner acquisition.
  • Along with the core team, share professional learnings that increase knowledge and best practices of successful major financial partner development
  • Know, understand and drive the mission, goals and values of Charity Right Australia.
  • Work closely with the board of directors to identify new and existing donors for new projects.
  • Act as a spokesperson for Charity Right Australia in the absence of the Executive Director
  • Represent Charity Right Australia at critical community and formal engagements

Accountability

  • Participate in regular team meetings to review revenue and activity.
  • Make a minimum of X meaningful interactions per month with your portfolio financial partners or potential new partners.
  • Collaborate on developing quarterly objectives and key results to drive significant outcomes.

How Success is Measured

  • Grow your portfolio investments by a minimum of X annually.
  • Increase planned to give and non-cash gift participation within your portfolio annually.
